Well doctors won’t take people seriously who actually have real illnesses until people stop faking these stuff. Doctors definitely dismiss women more than men but it’s not going to get any better if this stuff is considered trendy. But people with Munchausen's and hypochondriac’s still definitely need to get help with there stuff because they are considered mental illnesses. People who are around others with tics and also have them can be triggered by theirs if that makes since. But it is really frustrating that people think illnesses are cool and like to romanticize them.
