Can Christians have ambitions and goals?

The purpose and meaning of our lives is to glorify God. Really meditate on what that means.

"everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” [Isaiah 43:7]

So practically, how do we glorify God?

Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” [John 14:21]

So repent and believe the Gospel; Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your strength.

Once you are in right standing with the Father, than pray about your goals, be rooted in the Word. Make sure you do not sacrifice your faith for your goals.
