I think people get upset because his opinions are uninformed. There are plenty of “anti gun” opinions which can be backed with facts, but Ethan doesn’t seem to know those facts or use them if he does. He’s basically the stereotypical “guns bad. Ban guns” guy that gets ridiculed and destroyed in debates everyday on the internet because they’re coming 100% from a feels > facts perspective which is always bad for debate. If you’re going to hold strong opinions on literal constitutional rights then you, imo, it’s your obligation to research the topic and be educated. Especially when you’re speaking a large audience who could be influenced by your incorrect information.
