Can we fucking stop with the hate from PS4/PC users.

But wait, there's more!

You see, I hail from the distant lands of... another space sim subreddit. And what is about to be played out here has already occurred over there. Firstly, the game will be released, and the regular userbase will be quietly playing the game and a new wave of players will join us. All will be rosy.

Then, a few people will express disappointment that the game didn't meet their expectations. About how it isn't the game that they wanted. Then comes the tide of 'I want feature X' or 'The game should have Y and Z' all tippity tap typed by people who have no idea how software development works. This in turn shows people what the game could be if it were shaped by the players, and not what the game actually is.

Because suggested features won't pop into the game overnight, the sub will, after a couple of months, become an unbearable whinefest. Posts like 'NMS is dying' and 'Hello Games don't care' and memes about Sean Murray supposedly being the one will crop up.

People will forget that THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD DYING FOR NO GOOD REASON and that if people had their priorities straight they might go donate to charity or volunteer overseas. But no. Hello Games didn't meet MY expectations, or maybe they forget that because they have MY money I should control them forever. Best go shit all over everyone else's hard work.

As for me? I'm too much of a self-absorbed douche to help anyone else in the world. But I can admit it.

Enjoy the show.
