UMICH IS NOT IT. It is expensive as hell and it barely gives any financial aid for oos. The tuition can come up to almost 70K. I personally think that is too much . Umich also has the worst weather. Even on a cold, snowy day, students are still expected to attend classes because snow does not faze michiganders. It is literally a public university that is priced like a private university. Another thing is that it is very hard to transfer into another college at Umich if you decide to change your major. You could potentially be stuck in whatever college you got into. Also it is hard to get guidance as a freshman and it's also hard to get into extracurricular activities
