Can I get a "I'm not ever having a baby" shower?

That is really cool. I think you should celebrate. Ideally you have at least a handful of people who are happy for you and want to celebrate this important/significant event in your life. For me, the only remotely "sad" part of an otherwise very happy event was doing it all alone- even my own family didn't know I had it done (because they'd have thrown a shit fit), I was single/ not in a relationship so no SO to be happy for me, and I'd recently moved to my current area so I didn't have any close friends. It's been 6 years, and I still haven't been able to celebrate it. I've come to terms with it (mostly), just being happy for myself (obviously) and sterility is its own reward! ;) But still, I think it's better if you can celebrate an important event in your life.
