Can intuitive eating be denialism?

I think your defensiveness is causing you to miss the point. I’m not anti-science, I am a scientist! I understand that you disagree with the viewpoint of IE, that’s okay. As others have mentioned, if you read some of the books and resources recommended here, you may find some compelling data to make you rethink how “anti-science” this model is.

And just for the record, IE is not about eating abnormal portions. In fact, many people find that they end up eating less when they’re no longer in a scarcity mentality (aka restriction).

I have a genuine question - are you just here trolling? What could I say that would change your current stance? Would it help you to know that I’m a healthy person? That I’m an athlete? That none of my physicians (GP, OB-Gyn, and neurologist) think I should lose weight because I’m perfectly fine where I am? I’m honestly just curious what you came here for, if not to be unkind.
