Imo no. Music flows down from society - so if evils exist in society it is going to turn up in music (or any art form).

Music is not to be blamed however. Its the maker's expression. What I mean by that is - music may be a reflection of an evil in society but music doesn't cause evil.

For example some neo-nazi punk or black metal groups have filthy messages but the music is an expression of their idea (as shitty as it may be). Does their "music" cause society to be more hateful? - imo the idea already exists in the mind of someone who may relate to that kind of filth. The songs may coalesce shitty people together - but the ideas have been driven down to them via their own life experiences and formed ideologies.

The same thing with drill - I think music reduces violence if anything. It forms a mode of release of a lot of amped up people. Would the same violence not exist without drill? I highly doubt it.
