Can I make my own THC-infused "juice"/tincture, and will it be safe for consumption?

MCT oil + lecithin + BHO.

MCT oil is amazing shit. Most importantly, it is liquid at room temperature. Hell, it is liquid in the fridge. At 15ml a shot, this will last a long time: https://www.amazon.com/Bulletproof-Brain-Octane-Oil-oz/dp/B00P8E0QQG?th=1

I use 1g BHO to 15 ml oil. I put about a quarter of a teaspoon of lecithin granules in a tiny dish and add just enough water to turn them into what looks like thick snot. It takes a while for this to happen, so do this first.

I decarb and emulsify in a beaker that I place in a canola oil bath. This sounds complicated but is super easy. I don't like using the oven because I have seen people spill into the oven and it REEKS forever. If you spill in the oil bath, you just have cannacanola oil. Bonus.

I use a small pot and put about 1/4 inch of canola oil in, just enough to submerge the candy thermometer. I heat the oil to 240, drop the BHO in the beaker, and put the beaker into the bath. Once it stops bubbling I add the oil using a disposable plastic pipette (yes, it is like high school chemistry. This stuff is cheap on amazon). Then I add about a quarter of a teaspoon of the lecithin snot for every 15ml. Stir til combined and take it off the heat, then into dropper bottles with graduated droppers.

It takes about 45-60 minutes start to finish. The tincture is excellent and potent. Because MCT tastes like basically nothing, you can let it sit under your tongue and swish it around in your mouth forever. Hits quick that way.

So easy and MCT oil is great. I have done it with hemp seed oil as well, but that tasted like canned green beans.

This is my base for most of my oil-based edibles. 15ml = 1 tablespoon. You just substitute 1 tablespoon of MCT for whatever oil you are using. MCT has a lower flash point than butter or normal coconut oil, but I have never had an issue.
