I can't exactly pinpoint when the idea first popped into my head, as I've probably been thinking about it since I was around 13. When it really set in place for me was when I was walking on a busy street, and some guy talking to his group of friends said "there's no way those are real" while they all stared at me. I assume they thought I couldn't hear them. Honestly I wish now I would've flipped them off or something lol. I've had many, many things said to me/about me by strangers but this one really got to me. It ruined the entire trip, and I started talking to my mom about having a reduction immediately. The amount of attention ("good" and absolutely horrible) was/is so bad for my anxiety, and the pain is just the icing on top. I was 15 turning 16 at the time, and I'm 18 now waiting for approval from my insurance again after switching surgeons :)
