Can You Be A Pro-Life Feminist? Cecile Richards Calls Pregnancy Decisions 'Fundamental’ to Women’s Equality

I am a real life pro-life feminist.I am a Bernie Sanders supporter. The arguments that /u/Agkistro13 is making are spot on about why I am against abortion. My beliefs are pretty much in line with the catholic doctrine of seamless garment. However, I disagree with the priorities of the political pro-life movement. I am pro-birth control and comprehensive sex education. I am pro social programs like universal healthcare, welfare (though I prefer universal basic income), and paid maternity leave and paid paternity leave. The number one reason women have abortions is because they cannot financially afford to have the child that is wrong. That should not be the case no one should feel like they have to have an abortion, because they cannot afford to have a child. My focus is entirely on making the number of abortions that happen as low as possible preferably zero. The data pretty clearly shows that making abortion illegal in the world that we have right now is ineffective from that point of view. The countries with the lowest number of abortions are in Western Europe. In an ideal world abortion would be illegal, but we don't live in that world. So as of now I don't support making it illegal.
