I can mentally square 37, it's a basic level math The pattern (a + b) squared equals to a squared + 2 times a times b + b squared is basic level math which everybody above the age of 15 must know, because it's taught in schools

So 37 squared = 30 squared + 30 times 7 times 2 + 7 squared And you can do this very easily in your head

A tulpa should know it too

"basic level math" to you, as complicated as a foreign language to me. It's a bit past the level where this brain can do mental math intuitively without stopping to think about each step. This brain's number sense can only hold about 3 2-digit numbers, or 2 3-digit numbers, in it at a time. (Or 3 sets of 3-4 digits if there's no need to actually do any calculations to them. Like a phone number or a set of vital signs or something.)

This difficultly with what you said here wasn't helped by your poorly worded attempt to put the formula into words. (No offense. But formulas make a lot more sense to me than words do with a complicated multi-step, parentheses-containing formula.)

Basically: What's basic to you, isn't basic to every brain.
