Yeah weed gave me hallucinations before too it definitely is psychedelic. I once saw an ant as weird as it sounds I just clearly visualized a bug and auditory stuff happens all the time, when I take a long enough break.

As far as the laughing the jesters are definitely a real thing something to do with the universal cosmic joke of life and death. And you're right, our body dies in the end but our thoughts and emotions tend to control our lives a lot. Its probably something to do with music, since I've hallucinated songs in deep moments of depression after losing my first love. I would hear songs in my head like without drugs. It seems music is something babies in the womb enjoy and possibly something we can still enjoy in the afterlife.
