Our most wishful thinking has been our coaching.

We can have many games like the browns game or we can have games where we utilize the run correctly and have games where Justin can be effective via not featuring our weakness. (a weak OL).

Our OL was actually doing well in the running game when we put more of a focus on it as the season went on and resulted in less sacks and more opportunity to make plays via a play action. We just kept ignoring that it worked and decided it was now time to get pass happy again.

Is Getsy wishful thinking? If he's going to utilize our current talent the way nagy did, sure.

Having a young OL that you can mold into what you want, doesn't mean you have to pass and not run and put your qb in danger to the tune of 9 sacks like in the browns game.

Wishful thinking is that we would have hired Harbaugh vs Oberflus. We only take the largest risks we can with the offense. Trestman. Nagy. Is Getsy the new Nagy? We crossing our fingers and hoping that maybe he's the reason Rodgers and Adams are who they are?

Here's my take. They are no more who they are because of Getsy, than tyreek, kelce, or hunt are who they are because of Nagy.
