Can we get the SATURATION SLIDER back??

Yes, I was used to increased saturation. I think it's great for most things, just not workspace.

Even an 8-bit panel or a professional panel with full calibration will suffer because you're destroying the signal it receives

correct, but as I said framerate is my top priority, I currently have the Acer XG270HU which does in fact have the "professional" color depth of 8bpc along with a 144hz refresh rate. Changing the gamma, brightness, contrast, and saturation are all key steps in getting the monitor ready for me personally. I enjoy the effects of increased saturation in my games (SweetFX type changes) and this is important to me. I obviously don't use any of these when I am working in Photoshop. I believe I have the right to be frustrated, as I DO play cartoon like games on my Vive (VR set) and I DO want my colors to stand out. a lot. I just got my vive set by connecting it as separate hdmi display and injecting an old driver set from the past catalyst control center. There, I was able to open the vive as a display and change the saturation. It looks great now. I create and print labels here at home and print them at our store on sticker paper along with many other things. I find my color space works fine for me and the labels are to our liking. Aside from that, I've worked enough in my color space to know what is ok and what is not. If something shows up wrong in physical form, I will be able to tell. Thank you for the info.
