Can some of you help me with my motivation letter to get into college?

I made a lot of changes so I didn't italicize my edits, but I figured you could just put the two side by side for comparison. Feel free to accept whatever changes from my edits that you want. Also if you don't have a word limit on the essay, I would recommend that you do not use contractions (unless you want to go for a very personal feel).

Many students face the time between their last exams and their graduation of high with a lot of mixed feelings. Of course they’re happy that they’re done with high school, and that all their hard work has finally paid off, but the future also holds a lot of uncertainties. Are they taking a gap year? Are they going to study abroad? Most importantly, the question that every high school student hears almost daily: “What are you going to study?!”

I’m glad that even though it’s still uncertain whether or not I’ll be selected, I no longer have to worry about all those questions. Because when I stumbled upon the PPLE program last year, all of those uncertainties went away. Then, when the student for a day experience confirmed those feelings, I knew I was making the right decision. I already saw myself walking around campus, interacting with students from all over the world. I know PPLE is the right study for me to develop myself further.

The only question left to answer is whether I am the right student for PPLE? The instructions say that above all, a PPLE student should be motivated and up for a challenge. I believe that I exhibit these qualities. During my last six years of high school, I was never really challenged. Without any effort I would pass every class, and I only recently started working, because I need higher grades to be accepted into PPLE. However, that doesn’t really show how motivated I am. Over the last six years I organized and participated in the possibly more extracurricular activities than any other student in the entire school. From being head of multiple student councils, to organizing and presenting an online school report, to writing in the school paper, to being elected as most eloquent student in the school, I have proven that when I really want to do something, I am as motivated as one could possibly be.

I hope this shows that when I’m dedicated to something, I will do everything and anything to accomplish it. Even though the 36 total hours of study per week are described as “demanding”, I am so excited to learn about the interdisciplinary subjects, and how everything is connected, that it will make all those hours a lot easier! In addition, the fact that there are a lot of foreign students at PPLE, makes it even more appealing. Because at the end of the day, what I want to do in the coming years is learn the things I actually want to learn, and doing so with so many interesting people from around the world only makes it better. That is what makes PPLE unique, and that is exactly the reason why I want to study at PPLE.
