Can some give me basic advice on this game?

If you're not revealed, a few things. -Only sprint after going to max blue first. If only so you don't activate a pod by accident and leave your boy stranded with no cover. -Try and recon with reaper first. They are so useful for figuring out where pods are. The more levels they have, the better the recon. -if you're going to a doorway first. Don't go to the corners unless you know what's on the other side. The number of times I fucked my stealth by going to a doorway and a pod is sitting there with eyes on me is too damn high.

Know your enemies. This takes time (or an F1 mod) but learning what can kill in one turn and what can kill in two is vital. A good way to sort of figure it is the bigger they are, the worse they'll be. Don't misvalue buffs and debuffs. Seriously. There will be a point where youre sitting in combat and two pods are in your way, and a flashbang debuffs or a grenade to destroy cover is going to change the game. The specialist defense protocol has saved my guys more times then I care to admit.
