Can someone please share any words of hope, good news, or positive outlooks about the pandemic?

That's only going to be the case if mass vaccination ultimately translates to tangible, observable benefits of people's day-to-day lives. If people can start to relax a little, if small gatherings between vaccinated people become acceptable in the short-term and large gatherings between vaccinated people become acceptable in the long-term. At this point, though, I am honestly starting to wonder if that will happen. If it doesn't, I expect there to be a major drop in the demand for vaccines. Why would people get a sore arm only to continue living the same miserable, shit-ass dour existence that we've been consigned to for the past fucking year.
