I can’t go back to college until I pay back the massive amount of debt but I can’t make enough money to do that since I don’t have any skills. Is this a circle I’ll be stuck in forever?

You don't have to pay the whole $10k to go to college, you just have to be making your monthly payments. Call your student loan company and apply for a income based repayment plan. They will probably ask if you want to do forbearance instead, because they are slimy. Do not do this. You want an income based repayment, not forbearance.

Then figure out from them how much you need to pay to get caught up on your payments. It's usually just the total of however many payments you've missed. This is how much you have to pay off to go back to school. Plus, start making your monthly payments, which will be reduced after you apply to the income based repayment program.
