What is he doing? If they are the same role across several vertical industries that's OK. But if these are actually all different jobs, what exactly is he trying to achieve? He's setting himself up for massive job dissatisfaction.

Choose a destination based on logic, then head in that direction. Commit to it. You can always correct course later. Instead of choosing a random direction, putting the vehicle on autopilot, crashing and repeating all over again.
