I have a really beautiful memory from when I was a young teen in the mid 2000s during what I guess was a superbloom. I was on the way to see Elton John in Bakersfield with my best friend's family (random for 14 year olds, but awesome). We noticed the beautiful flowers from the freeway and her mom stopped the car for us to go enjoy. There was a small handful of people, everyone was being careful to not stomp on the flowers, and luckily I happened to bring a little digital camera with me!
