Can we talk about Dorcas?

When I was a kid I went to a Mennonite church every other Tuesday as like a bible school thing. We’d have a short sermon, go to our class, have a small bible lesson, sing, make a craft, have a snack, play outside, and have a farewell sermon. They came to pick us up so it was essentially just a few hours of piece for my mom.

Anyway, one of the mennonites there’s name was Dorcas. Felt so bad for her. Especially since she had really thick prescription glasses, and had some physical differences as well (she couldn’t straighten her one arm and fist/fingers on that arm, and the leg on the same side had similar problems. So to walk she had to swing out her one legs and throw it forward and around... if that makes sense.) She was a lovely girl. But, yeah... kids weren’t too kind. After awhile she stopped volunteering at the program. Hopefully it wasn’t because of all the bullying but....
