Can we talk about the huge amount of Syrians who think that Lebanon is a part of Syria?

Yes, which brings us to the core issue : If a people who sold their own land to foreigners in Egypt thinks they can assert any can claim our country, it's because Lebanon was always a weak country since its independence. Not because it's inherently meant to be this way but because most of our issues are self-caused.

It does not matter at the end of the day what these people believe, Syrians also believe they were conquerors in Al-Andalus instead of being the conquered. Their fantasies are none of our concerns, what is of concerns is whether we're able to have defensive and offensive capacities and defend ourselves in general.

This is the essence of the issue.
