I just bought op 8 pro after owning p5. Screen is flawless. Camera is great, not pixel level point and shoot but it's at a level where I can't complain. I wanted telephoto lenses also. Pixels speaker is garbage, big step backward if you had front facing stereo speakers of the 2xl. Also has massive QC issues like screen gap. My op 8 pro (knock on wood) seems much better from QC standpoint. 8 pro is huge which is annoying. 8 pro has worse battery, p5 has 50 percent better battery life. Curved screen sucks bad too. In screen fingerprint sucks generally- it's good on 8 pro but sucks compares to rear on pixel. If the p5 had top speaker like the OnePlus does I would have kept it. Otherwise the 8 pro is a great flagship, kind of between pixel and Samsung.
