Can y’all help me get through to my parents ?

Nope. My 93 year old grandmother worked at Marshall Field's and retired at 56. Her and my grandfather didn’t buy their first home until 2010 and they had no idea of what it meant to take care of or maintain their home. I had to help paint rooms, move them in, mowed their lawn. Yet, I also had done the same for my parents when I lived with my folks. I’m the only grandson. Then shortly before my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer, changed his will which no one knew about, he died, and that’s when we all found out that my grandfather left my grandmother nothing. No savings or anything to live on. My folks are separated. My moms father committed suicide and my other grandmother was a racist bigot who kept to herself.
