None of that makes any sense. Money just represents the value society attributes to something at the end of the day. I don't know what you mean by "financial" gain vs. "humanitarian" gain.

This was never about the merits of giving money to a corporation in exchange for a product or service at market value. It's about giving subsides to corporations where you don't get a product or service in return. You provided no example of when and why that would ever be economically efficient.
