Canada’s Property Bubble Is Now So Large, A Soft Landing Would Take 19 Years

Please don't. People's worth can't be measured by their ability to contribute to society or their own family. You're an indispensable fixture in the lives of those around you, even if you arrive at the point where it seems as though they don't need you anymore and that you're just a burden.

When I was young I experienced a ton of abuse and bullying. If not for a handful of elderly relatives I would have had nobody "safe" in my life. One of them didn't even speak English, and the other couldn't speak due to a stroke. Even being unable to communicate, just being able to sit with someone like that gave me so much. I only got to see them once or twice a year, but decades later those memories remain as precious as they were back then.
