Not at all. Very different community. Mount-Royal' zionist jewish voters are undeniably Conservative voters, while the Hassidim in Outremont aren't.

I live in Montreal but I actually am not well versed on the specifics of the difference. ELI5 on why Hassidic Jews are more likely to vote NDP and why they don't follow the same undeniably Conservative voting patterns of Mount Royal Jews? I dated a girl from Côté St. Luc for a while whose parents didn't like me because I'm not Jewish so I get why that community is more Zionist, but I don't understand why the Outremont community isn't. I'm sorry if I seem ignorant, I honesty have no clue.
