Canada's Immigration Policy Must Aim To Fulfill Our Economic Needs - Maxime Bernier

Canada is already culturally relativist a degree that it extreme in its application in comparison to the western world.

The application of multiculturalism in this country treats all cultures as if they are equal to French and Anglo culture. That is wrong because most cultures are not equal to the aforementioned cultures since they're are unique in the sense that it is demonstrable that societies with these cultures as a driving force are successful societies in almost every sense of the world. That can be compared to many other cultures which can either lend themselves to only partially successful societies (an example is Chinese culture, which is successful on realm of creating orderly and productive societies while largely unsuccessful in the creation of free societies where personal and artistic expression flourishes) or failed societies all around.

Just as French culture should get rights in Québec that other cultures don't have hers, Anglo culture should get rights in English Canada that other cultures don't have. I was briefly in Vancouver a few months ago, and it is apparent to me that British Columbia needs an equivalent to Bill 101 because the integration/cultural situation seems to be less than ideal.

I am a native English speaker from QC, if you're wondering the context from which I'm writing.
