Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau campaigns in Montreal, Quebec

Kind of a devil you know situation. I don't agree with a lot of Liberal policies. I'd say I'm closer to the NDP. But the NDP has no presence in my riding. Actually, it's a CPC stronghold so my vote is irrelevant anyways. My ideal situation is a minority Liberal government.

I simply don't trust the CPC to lead us through the pandemic and a future impacted so heavily by climate change. O'Toole is probably personally a lot more progressive than his party. I just don't trust the party itself. At least the Liberals are sort of on planet Earth.

The two worst premier's in the country are both members of their provincial conservative parties. O'Toole's response to Alberta's catastrophe is pretty telling. There's a lot of overlap in thinking there. I don't want to elevate the same thinking to the federal level.
