“Cancel culture” and ethical consumption

Tbh, that hasn’t been my experience on here at all. Sure, some people disagree on finer points, but it’s mostly to be as ethical as practically possible and it’s generally people presenting the case for how to be that.

I think it’s good to have discussion especially when they are important topics. If people don’t agree doesn’t mean that they are necessarily wrong either. Discussion is important for progression. New information comes up that negates older ones, or there’s a new perspective that challenges an existing one - it’s not a bad thing to have people have different opinions. Again, my suggestion for you though is to not let it get to your head as to whether or not people like what you write.
