Is cancelling your magazine subscription helpful in enacting change in the current practices?

as someone who works reasonably high up in marketing in a company. thats absolutely not true

if you're continuing to pay every month, I'm taking that as you being happy with my values/decisions etc. I listen to what the people who leave are telling me. esp if more people are leaving than are coming/than I want to be coming

you know what counts? actions. you know what is meaningless? words. if you want to do something, do it. don't talk about it. I always get a bit of a kick out of customers threatening to take their business elswhere unless x, y or z. like, unless you're 10-20x the business of a normal customer I've wasted more money reading your message than it'd take to replace you with another customer
