Cannabis whole or grinded bud volumetric expansion

edit: and if you worry about the decreasing amount of thc % by weight of expanded batches, you just brand the most fluffled up product as "lights" or "golds" or "low-thc".

Yeah nobody is going to buy that though. It's psychological, if you present a stoner with regular weed and "light weed" they are going to pick regular every time.

Light, fluffy, airy, low THC, these are all dirty words in cannabis culture. That may work for cigarettes but when buying weed people look for words like dank, dense, weight, nuggets, etc..

People who smoke cigarettes know its bad for them so the "light" option sounds healthy. People who smoke weed don't care about health as much and want to know they are getting a good deal and that they're going to get high, if its light you're getting ripped off, if its not potent you're getting ripped off.

This is a terrible idea and anyone investing money into this is going to find themselves fighting an uphill battle trying to change public opinion to accept this product that goes against everything that motivates a stoner to make a purchase.
