I'm sorry Joe, I'm sure you mean well. But the young people of the nation are justifiably pissed off at the state of things. I absolutely condemn the violence as well, but there's an immense undercurrent of rage in this country, especially among younger people.

The causes? The economy is crashing, and even during good times it was harder and harder for younger people to succeed. All while some older Americans had the gall to blame the young Americans that "they weren't working hard enough, or eating too much avocado toast". Young Americans see the environment collapsing, yet many old leaders who won't live with the consequences drag their feet, dooming us all. Hell, look at the next election - while Joe is miles better than Trump, he didn't even bother trying to appeal to young people ("No Malarkey" as your campaign slogan?).

Not saying that young people are entirely faultless (they need for vote more, for one). But they are rightfully filled with rage, an outcome of the environment that they grew up in
