I cannot handle social anxiety

ask yourself why you feel this and the other and think of what's the worst that can happen?
so, what if youll get ignored? a therapist job is to help you get better as a person, if theyre not fullfiling that job then it's time to change therapist. it's not uncommon or anything wrong with asking/searching for another therapist.

honestly i too still struggle with talking with ppl and even online i get a bit of that anxiety with participating in live conversations because my mind just blanks out at fast paced conversations so i only ever just message back and forth in my own pace. But it helps to think that you shouldnt feel the pressure to be able to do everything at once... take baby steps. You may not for example want to start greeting random people but you can start putting your focus and gather the courage to go and buy something simple in person (and I can definitely sympathize with this, it was hard when i took the step and i still dont exactly feel comfortable with doing it again but im glad i did it at least).

Do you know this app called 'Slowly'? You can connect to people around the world through sending digital letters, it's a great way to get to know/write to others at your own pace and i would definitely recommend to check it out if you're ever feeling it^^ (though granted it's a bit of a gamble whether you will meet someone decent or not but worth a try imo)

I feel like i shouldnt be giving any advices since I'm no professional or anything but thinking like this has helped me a lot and I can sympathize with your vent. I hope things will get better for you
