Why can't all restaurants be grab-and-go like some Chipotle?

I work at Chipotle and do DoorDash on the side. At my store, we try to get the online orders done ~10 minutes before the promised time. Unfortunately it doesn’t always happens. During dinner rush we can have 15+ people in line for an hour or more. Then add in 5-7 web orders (which includes DoorDash) at the same time. Unfortunately the web orders will not get as much attention as the customers present. If we have the people, we’ll have someone making online with two people helping customers. (During peak hour for dinner, the section dedicated to making online orders is typically not used at my store. Why? I’m not entirely sure. I’m guessing because of short staffing.)

When I’m on line, if I have multiple online orders I try to make DoorDash/Postmates orders first.
