Can't believe there's people who are ashamed of who they are just because of their race.

I'm not ashamed of who i am because of my racial background. I'm ashamed of how society and others treat me because of my racial backgrounds.

Anyone can forget problems and move past them. It takes a backbone to actually face those problems and seek to better them so other hapas and people in your situation never have to face them.

I know a dozen mixed people already. I already do travel. I'm a grown man with a college degree and work a job with a girlfriend.

I only dedicate a sliver of my time on weekends or freetime to coming here because it means something to me. I'm not here on reddit for catpics or memes.

I suggest you learn about hapa issues, about plights hapas face, and try to help fix them too. I know tackling any social problem has been politicized and toxified in the eyes of people, being a social justice warrior is a bad thing, but i fight stuff that really matters like getting the amerasians in the phillipines who were forgotten legal status, more asians in popular media, ending anti-asian employment discrimination, etc.
