Why can't I choose to be with God or not after I'm dead?

I think you are confusing internet activist atheists with the average atheist. Most atheists don’t give a shit about religion and rarely think about it. Just like most theists don’t know much of anything about their religion. Your argument seems to just be an apriori explanation to justify why people don’t agree with you, but it doesn’t match the data. Not sure where you got the claim from, but your choice is either to reject the baseless claim or reject the Pew Center research. Which do you prioritize, evidenced based beliefs or empty fairytales? I can tell from your responses above that you knew it was a bad claim.

Notice on importance of religion the Nones majority say religion is not important to their lives.
