Does anyone know anything about this?

Lots of fraudulent activities going on as of recently.

If you pay attention there are a number of places now that check whether your bills are counterfeit or not.

" Your relative has probably asked you to get a CC to pay the company's outstanding and flee the country ". I still think he's joking to this day I really can't believe this is an actual reason.

Please don't take it personally, you have to remember a large number of employees don't know the hows and the whys and have 0 understanding as to how processes work or why they're done that way throughout the company they work at.

They're just instructed to do "X" if "Y" and they do as instructed without giving it any thought.

They're not paid to think and figure things out, they're simply paid to follow instructions, and they behave according to what they're paid.

I faced some ridiculous behavior that I thought was very demeaning/provocative at a reputable store I frequent, and I took it personally.

After complaining to the management they explained to me that they have been facing a lot of fraudulent activities and they have to double check every little detail. Especially with counterfeit bills.

That kind of behavior is something I haven't faced throughout my whole life here, but I accept it's something I have to get used to.
