You can't fight it. Things always circle back to an optimal design.

There seems to be some kind of misunderstanding here. I am not a dwarf. I am not a ground-dweller, someone who lives in caves, away from the light of God and the din of battle. I do not make my home in the dirt. I make my home where my nation tells me that I must dig my fighting hole. If that is in the streets of cities, so be it. If it is in the muddy fields, so be it. If I must entrench at the Gates of Hell itself, I will do it.

A Marine is at constant conflict, even with the very Earth itself. you see, I do not enjoy "the ground". I do not enjoy "digging". I enjoy my properly dug Marine fighting hole. I displace earth one shovelful at a time to make way for what battle and God has proven time and time again the most effective and safe way for a well trained US Marine to dispatch his enemies.

I will repeat to you again: I do not love the ground. I do not love mountains. I do not love the din of the shovel on solid earth; I do not love the din of battle. I only love these things when they result in the proper usage of a well dug, well concealed, Marine fighting hole.
