Can't keep any food down, lost 50 lbs in 4 months, but I'm sick because I'm fat. Thanks Doc!

It's not about jumping to conclusions to be honest. It's a common thing for fat women to be treated differently by doctors. Women already have a difficult time being taken seriously and it is exponentially more difficult if you add weight. The thing is that I have physicals every year and I always have a clean bill of health. My cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc are all great. I even had a doctor insist that it was "impossible" that I wasn't prediabetic because I have PCOS which makes it more likely that you become diabetic. He made me take an insulin machine home and test myself before and after every meal for a weak just for it to show that I'm really not diabetic. I've had stomach issues since high school when I was MUCH thinner than I am now (barely overweight) and I told the doctor that as well. It just took a turn for the worse a few months ago. The problem is with the tests they are running, they are finding oddities in the results that are "inconclusive" but aren't making the effort to find out why and putting the "well she's fat so that must be it" sticker on there. I am going to go back to my primary care doctor and get their opinion as well.
