Can't get a reply from Whoosh motorsports

Truth be told, I've recently just had issues with whoosh. I have an order with several different items in place, but one thing is out of stock so it's causing delay from the entire order being sent out. Fair enough, I realized there was an alternate item (that costed a bit more that) I could get that was in stock. So I made a request to swap the items, and pay the difference so that he can ship my order immediately afterward. He revised my order requesting me to pay the difference, but I noticed he didn't apply his site wide 5% discount on the new item. So I emailed and fb msg him back within 2 hrs asking if he can apply the discount.

2 days go by, no response. I send him another email and then he tells me alternative item was now gone and out of stock. wtf.. Yeah, I was pretty annoyed, cause I was waiting on his end to reply but since for whatever reason, he ignored my msgs, someone else swooped in and bought it.

I sent him an email about what I thought about that. My perspective was that he updated my invoice, knew I was going to buy it, but turned around and sold it to someone else because I didn't pay first (cause I was waiting for his reply). His email response didn't address why he didn't reply for 2 days. Just simply gave me a "too bad, so sad, first come, first serve" email. Talk about shitty customer service. Not even an apology on his "screw up."

Ok, I get it, from his perspective, he did nothing wrong. His policy is strictly first come, first serve. It's all the same money to him, regardless if we had a verbal agreement that I was going to buy it. In his words, it was an opportunity for me, and I didn't pay so someone else beat me to it. I mean, if that's the way it is, I don't see why customers should have any loyalty to recommend him over another vendor. He didn't do anything special to hold an item knowing I was going to buy it. Likewise, if I find someone else cheaper, I'll simply say "FU too", it's all the same if I get my part from elsewhere. There's no point of me trying to support his company just because I feel he's a good guy that I want to support. Don't expect favors if he's not going to extend it back.

Anyway, it totally rubbed me the wrong way. I used to go out of my way to support this guy, but I really can't any more. I'm honestly just neutral. Buy his stuff and be done with it. I feel no reason to praise him.

He has a good selection of items, his prices are decent, and he ships things fast. I'll give him that. Most of his positive reviews are just people talking about how he ships items fast. In the odd time, you get some "good" customer service reviews from him about his quick response times. But like I said earlier, his responses are selective.

Any poor reviews basically get shut down. There was a thread created on the forums about people having issues contacting him and after I made some complaints in there, he basically deleted the thread to bury any controversy. Lmao.
