I can relate.
People: “you mad??”
Me: “no”

Me: “I’m not mad, I’m just sayi—-“
People: “AHHHHHHH HE MAD AS HELL, DAYMNN BOI!!!!”

You can’t win with an audience. Combine that with immaturity and it’s a lose-lose. In my opinion, the secret to happiness is to stop caring so much. When people insist you’re upset when you aren’t, they’re just trying to get a rise out of you for entertainment value. Don’t give them that. Like another commenter stated, give them a slight smile and shrug it off.
