I cant stop. Its not possible.

I had a doctor’s appointment this week that really floored me. High blood pressure (which I knew about and am on medication for), but now high cholesterol and high blood sugar as well. )doc actually said “pre-diabetic”). The numbers have been creeping up and I’m convinced it’s from drinking so much. Weight is also creeping up. It’s a huge wake up call. I have a follow up in a few moths and am determined to reverse it all. I won’t be able to do that if I keep drinking. Bottom line. That realization is really helping me and motivating me. I am also very successful but I know it is severely affecting my work performance and it’s only a matter of time until I can’t carry my weight at work. I am older than you and this is my come to Jesus moment. Please don’t let drinking ruin your health or your career - as it will! Maybe consider a physical so you can see if you’re physically okay?
