I can't wait till we win a few games in a row and we finally put an end to unending narratives and negativity, often fueled by frustration, rather than reason.

Those were also the days when English teams dominated UCL - where we had an all English round of Semi finals.

That's the period immediately after the one he's referring to and the period we are essentially stuck in with regards to our performances: 01/02, 02/03, 03/04, 04/05, 05/06, 06/07, 07/08, 08/09, 09/10

We don't have competitive advantages when it comes to fitness or scouting players. Largely speaking, money talks and a lot of teams are ahead of us in terms of revenue (commercial, that is). We might have been the pioneers, but everyone has caught up now.

Couldn't have said it better myself and yet despite losing his competitive advantage Wenger refuses to sign players in areas we are weak and continues with his failed post 2005 strategy of complicated pinball passing.

I've not seen evidence to suggest anything is changing or improving so we should expect the status quo.

But from the year we signed Ozil, we have shown intent and should be judged on that intent.

Is intent signing big names just because they are available or is intent fixing the deficiencies in your side?

Wenger has shown opportunism not intent.
