Captain told deputies to stage perimeter during school shooting

It is very important yes but from the sound of things no one had a solid grip on how many teams were actually in the building. Telling a team that’s prepared to make entry into an uncleared area of the building where the shooter was last seen to stand down is incorrect. You know hind sight and all it’s easy for me to MMQB. But the captain should have allowed that team that was prepared to enter as they were going to, while directing anyone without a set team, just standing around, or just driving to the scene to link up at a CP/RP to start locking down the perimeter.

I’m not suggesting the 100s of Officer should all just bum rush in stumbling over each other.
