Car Purchase: WWYD?

Toyota guy and father here. I’ve had both a Sienna and a Prius (changed to a 4Runner when the kids grew up). My daughter is now driving the Prius and my Son is driving the Sienna. The Sienna is super convenient. As others are pointing out, the Prius can also work. It’s not nearly as bad putting a baby in a back car seat as you might think. In fact, if placed behind the driver, the passenger can reach the baby easier in a Prius than a Sienna (say on a long road trip, if the baby is fussing). The Sienna was fantastic when the kids were older and we needed the space (I have three kids total). Bottom line, whatever you choose, you’ll be fine with the car, but financially you’re almost certain to do better by waiting for the market to cool down. Congratulations on your baby! Buckle up, have fun, and enjoy the ride!
