Car vs. bike: did I handle this right?

I am not explaining this well.

When he first beeped, I was already poking out into Grove. There was nowhere for me to go, at all. I could either cross (impossible at the time) or do nothing. I couldn't back up, as he was totally on my ass.

I actually crossed, in a panic, when I shouldn't have, just to get away from him. That was my instinct. I hoped he was turning left or right and crossing would free me of him OR that I could cross first (leaving him to look both ways and cross shortly after) and I'd have time to pull off before he caught up.

Instead, he crossed ON MY ASS, like literally inches from my bike and creating a situation where if I'd stopped, he'd have hit me. Then he forced my bike off the road as soon as we got to the other side of Mercer. I was essentially pinned between him and the line of parked cars. There was never an opportunity for me to pull away or go off and let him pass me. From the second he started beeping at me to the point where he pinned me and prevented me from moving, I was trapped.

Being trapped, I yelled what I yelled because it was the first thing to come out of my mouth in a total fucking panic. As soon as he pulled away, I kept a good distance--about a car length or two--and stopped when he slowed down so as not to be anywhere NEAR him again.

Sorry that wasn't totally clear in the OP. It's hard to describe it because this all happened within like, 30 seconds, max.
