Cardano Chats: Cardano's First Defi App, Liqwid finance.

You're right, I haven't watched the video yet (it's late for me, I've got it bookmarked for tomorrow...)

But you said:

If users are indeed able to yield farm LQ from their staked ADA wallets then this will be one of the most successful projects this year.

So maybe I'm misunderstanding what yield farming is, but doesn't it involve lending?

[Yield farming] involves lending out cryptos via DeFi protocols in order to earn fixed or variable interest.

Simply put, yield farming involves lending cryptocurrency...When loans are made via banks using fiat money, the amount lent out is paid back with interest. With yield farming, the concept is the same: cryptocurrency that would otherwise be sitting in an exchange or in a wallet is lent out via DeFi protocols (or locked into smart contracts, in Ethereum terms) in order to get a return.

So, yeah, I'll have to watch the video to see what's going on... But right now you've given me two comments that together make it sound like somehow Liqwid will give out free money without you having to lend your ADA at all...?
