Career Advice: Should I choose Engineering or Medical?

What do you want to know?

Exams are conducted every year.

Age limit for General Candidates is 27 for most of the exams, but if you want to try in banking and Insurance sector you are eligible till 30.

Most of the exams have online examination consisting of MCQ's from Maths, Reasoning, Current Affairs, GK and a bit of Computer knowledge.

If you manage to score above the cut off marks, then depending on the examination, there will be interview then medicals or just medicals with no interview.

Now, the best exams according to me would be one which can offer me

  Good Work-Life Balance

  Good Salary

  A lot of Perks

  Good Career Progression options

Some exams offering them are,

LIC AAO, RBI Officer Grade B, IRDAI Officer ( Salary is more than 12lpa), SSC CGL ( Career Progression is kind of meh, but still a good choice )

I don't like banking, because Work-Life Balance is shit, salary is shit, work culture is shit, but career progression is awesome, especially in SBI and it has the most number of vacancies.

Do feel free to ask about anything that I may have missed.
